Navy, Army Chiefs: Enemy Severely Miscalculated Iran’s Resolve

TEHRAN — The commander of Iran’s Navy on Sunday issued a stark warning to the enemies of the Islamic Republic, stating that if they believe the martyrdom of naval personnel will halt the force’s operations, they are gravely mistaken.
“If the enemy thinks that with the martyrdom of some of the Navy’s children, this force will stop moving and carrying out its missions, it is severely mistaken,” said Admiral Shahram Irani, addressing personnel at the Bagheral Uloom Naval Training Center in Rasht.
“The Navy will continue its path more steadfastly and more powerfully with the blood of the martyrs,” he emphasized.
Admiral Irani stressed that today’s duty is to continue the path that martyrs paved with their sacrifice and dedication, with strength and perseverance, and not to allow the flag they raised with their blood to fall to the ground.
“The proud flag of the martyrs must be preserved with power, dignity, and honor, and transferred to future generations,” he said, adding that “the path of honor and independence of the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue with sacrifice, resistance, and steadfastness of the children of this nation.”
The Navy commander asserted that the enemy has miscalculated the spirit of the Iranian nation and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He confirmed that the Navy today

stands alive, dynamic, and powerful, and its personnel continue their missions with the same spirit as the martyrs, sparing no effort in defending Iran and ensuring the security of the great Iranian nation.
Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army Major General Amir Hatami also addressed the congress of 3,785 martyred Army personnel in Gilan Province, stating that “martyrdom is an honor and our heartfelt wish, but before that, we wish to achieve victory by standing firm and fighting against the enemy, and then, with pride, join our martyred Imam and our dear martyrs.”
Hatami said that during the recent U.S.-Israeli aggression, the enemy sought to destroy Iran’s missile and drone capabilities, but the armed forces continued launching missiles and drones against the enemy with maximum intensity until the final moments.
He added that the Armed Forces stood firmly against the enemy in various areas, including air defense, and that a number of the enemy’s unmanned and manned aircraft as well as strategic equipment were damaged.
General Hatami rejected claims by Iran’s enemies about the condition of the country’s armed forces, saying such claims do not reflect reality.
“The enemy claims that it has destroyed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, while they themselves know that the armed forces have always stood, and will continue to stand, against the enemy with strength, innovation, creativity, and courage,” he said.
