Yemeni Forces Target Saudi Mercenary Warehouses, Coast Guard Forces
SANAA, Yemen (Dispatches) — As the Saudi-led occupation intensifies its military mobilization across Yemen, Ansarullah forces deliver devastating blows to the kingdom’s mercenary positions in multiple provinces over the past 48 hours, while Washington has reportedly refused Riyadh’s request to lead a war against Yemen’s resistance.
The Yemeni Armed Forces on Saturday announced a large-scale military operation targeting Saudi-affiliated positions across Marib, Hadramout, and the western coast.
Ansarullah forces intensified attacks on Saudi mercenary gatherings near Marib city, where multiple explosions were reported at warehouses belonging to Saudi forces.
The Yemeni navy also engaged Saudi-backed mercenary coast guard forces near Zaqar Island in the Bab el-Mandab Strait, with several islands under coalition control struck by drone attacks.
In a significant development, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced they would release footage later Sunday of targeted strikes against Saudi military vehicles and positions, using “Rajum” drones to hit Saudi forces.
The operations come as reports indicate Saudi military advisers have been deployed in recent days to Marib, Mokha, and Dhale provinces to direct Saudi mercenaries.
Saudi Arabia has been reportedly preparing for a full-scale war against Yemen, according to U.S. media reports.
However, Israeli media claimed that Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman had requested the United States to lead a military campaign against Ansarullah in Yemen, but Washington rejected the request.
The U.S. reportedly informed Riyadh that while it would support Saudi military action, it would not take the lead — a decision attributed to Ansarullah’s forces having not targeted American vessels in the Red Sea.
Senior Ansarullah official Hazam al-Asad emphasized that “there is no security for Saudi military personnel, their mercenaries, or their bases on our soil”.
The movement has warned that any Saudi military presence or movement on Yemeni territory will be directly targeted, and any violation of Yemen’s sovereignty will be met with a response deep inside Saudi territory and its sensitive areas.
Ansarullah continues to implement its maritime blockade against Saudi shipping in response to the Saudi blockade and military mobilization, targeting Saudi oil tankers and strategic assets across the region.
