Russia: U.S.-Israel War on Iran Has Created Global Food Crisis
UNITED NATIONS — The aggression launched by the United States and Israel against Iran has created a “logistical shock” with consequences extending far beyond West Asia, Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations told the Security Council on Tuesday.

to the UN, said the disruption to global supply chains — particularly the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz — has sent shockwaves through energy and food markets, threatening tens of millions with hunger. “As a result, tens of millions of people may face starvation,” Nebenzya said.
