Sports Minister: Over 310 Sports Facilities Damaged in U.S.-Israeli Aggression
TEHRAN- The Minister of Sports and Youth said that 314 sports facilities were damaged during the 40 days of the U.S.-Israeli aggression on Iran.
Speaking at his arrival in Shahrekord, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Ahmad Donyamali told reporters, referring to the process of rebuilding sports facilities damaged during the war, 314 sports halls and complexes were damaged as a result of the aggression, and with the efforts of the governors and general directors of sports and youth of the provinces, more than 90 percent of these facilities have returned to operation.
He added, sports facilities that were completely damaged in the 40-day war are also on the agenda, and efforts are being made to provide the basis for the reconstruction and revival of these facilities by utilizing the legal capacities for productive activities.
The Minister of Sports and Youth said that the country’s provinces have been successful in using existing capacities to reconstruct sports venues, described these measures as jihadi, and thanked the provincial governors and sports managers for their efforts to restore damaged sports venues to their activity cycle.
