Ayatollah Hamadani to Rezaei: Follow Leader’s Guidance, Stand Firm
TEHRAN -- Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani has called for adherence to the Leader’s guidance, resistance against the enemy, a firm response to any aggression and the preservation of national unity following the appointment of Mohsen Rezaei as secretary of Iran’s
Supreme National Security Council.
In a message to Rezaei on Saturday, Ayatollah Hussein Nouri-Hamedani congratulated him on his appointment and said his military and defense experience could prove effective in the important position.
“Today, when the enemies of Islam and the Revolution have sharpened their appetite and entered the field with all their might to oppose and aggress against the Islamic Republic of Iran, your records and experiences in military and defense matters can be effective in this important responsibility,” he said.
The senior cleric stressed that Iran faces a situation requiring steadfastness and a clear response to hostile actions.
“In these circumstances, following the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, steadfastness in the face of the enemy, a firm response to any aggression, and preservation of internal unity and cohesion are among the most essential matters,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said.
