Double Podium for Iran in Asian U-23 3x3 Basketball: Boys Silver, Girls Bronze
TEHRAN — The Asian U-23 3x3 Basketball Nations League concluded with Iran’s boys’ team finishing as runners-up and the girls’ team securing third place.
The Asian U-23 3x3 Basketball Nations League competitions were held in Cangzhou, China.
In the boys’ category, Iran’s national team first lost to Mongolia 21–20, then defeated Japan 21–14 in their second match, finishing the final day in third place with one victory and one loss.
Finally, they secured the runner up position with 470 points.
In the girls’ category, Iran’s national team advanced to the final after two group stage wins against China and Mongolia.
In the final, they lost to Japan 17–10. Iranian girls accumulated 440 points, placing third in the Asian U-23 Nations League standings, behind Japan and China, and ahead of South Korea and Mongolia.
