TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has conducted simultaneous strikes on three fronts against U.S. positions in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to criminal American aggression against Iran, the elite military force announced on Monday.
In a statement, the IRGC’s Public Relations Department said the operation dealt heavy blows to terrorist U.S. forces in the region. 
The first phase of the attack targeted drone maintenance and repair hangars used by U.S. forces stationed at Bahrain’s Al-Sakhir Air Base, destroying the facilities. 
The second strike hit preparation hangars for Task Force 59 (TF59) vessels at Bahrain’s Port Salman and inflicted heavy damage on the vessels. 
The third phase targeted and set ablaze facilities used to station, support, and equip U.S. special naval commando forces at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, destroying them completely.
The IRGC said its crushing attacks, involving barrages of missiles and drones, continue in retaliation for the acts of aggression by the “child-killing U.S. army.” 
Reports from the region indicated successive explosions shook Bahrain, with the sound of blasts heard in various areas, particularly in the capital Manama. 
Kuwait also witnessed explosions, with reports suggesting that Patriot missile systems protecting U.S. forces in both countries have nearly exhausted their interceptor stocks.
In a separate development, the IRGC announced that its air defense forces shot down an MQ-9 drone over the skies of Eslamabad-e Gharb in western Iran. 
According to a statement carried by the IRGC’s official news outlet, the unmanned aerial vehicle was detected, tracked, and destroyed by the IRGC Aerospace Force’s newly developed advanced air defense system operating under the country’s integrated air defense network.
Earlier on Sunday night, the Iranian Army also announced that another intruding MQ-9 drone had been intercepted and destroyed in western Iran. In a statement, the Army’s Public Relations Office said the drone was successfully engaged and brought down by the Army Air Defense Force’s missile systems operating within Iran’s integrated air defense network.
During the 40-day U.S.-Israeli war of aggression, Iranian air defense units destroyed hundreds of advanced enemy drones, including MQ-9 Reapers, Hermes, and LUCAS models. 
The IRGC has also successfully targeted multiple U.S. fighter jets, including F-35 stealth fighters, F-15s, and F-16s, along with refueling planes. 
In a single 24-hour period on April 3, 2026, Iranian forces downed an F-15E Strike Eagle, an A-10 Thunderbolt II, multiple MQ-9 Reaper drones, Hermes reconnaissance platforms, and a salvo of cruise missiles.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on Saturday, American officials have expressed growing concern over Iran’s evolving missile capabilities, saying Tehran has adapted its missiles to penetrate U.S. air defense systems and carry out increasingly precise strikes against sensitive targets.
The IRGC also announced a surprise retaliatory strike on the U.S. special operations command center in the Al-Tanf region of Syria. 
The IRGC’s statement detailed how fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force carried out the 11th wave of “Operation Nasr 2,” dedicated to the martyred soldiers of Bampour in Iranshahr.
The surprise attack successfully destroyed an enemy radar system and several special operations helicopters at the US command center in the Tanf region of Syria. In direct retaliation for the blood of Iranian soldiers martyred the previous night in Iranshahr, a large number of American forces were killed, the statement added.
The IRGC announced carrying out high-fatality and widely destructive retaliatory strikes against strategic American targets in the region as part of the 21st and 22nd waves of Operation Nasr-2.
The 21st wave saw the IRGC carry out precision strikes leading to the destruction of 20 hangars used to station U.S. troops in the al-Azraq area in Jordan, which also resulted in the deaths of dozens of American forces. 
The IRGC thanked the Jordanian public and members of the country’s armed forces for providing intelligence that facilitated the reprisal. 
Additionally, destructive ballistic missile strikes targeted U.S. C-17 strategic transport aircraft and P-8 command-and-control aircraft at Aqaba Airport in Jordan, inflicting heavy damage on a number of the aircraft.
The 22nd wave struck multiple U.S. military facilities at Ali al-Salem Airbase in Kuwait. An American early warning radar system was completely destroyed in a drone strike, while aviation equipment, a spare-parts hangar, and an MQ-9 drone shelter were also hit, causing several drones to catch fire.
The IRGC addressed the Jordanian
 and Kuwaiti public, noting how the United States chronically uses regional countries’ territories to perpetrate acts of bloodshed and destruction. It urged the public in both countries to step up against Washington’s atrocities.
Reiterating its appreciation of the Jordanian public’s contribution to Iran’s retaliatory efforts, the IRGC thanked them for their efforts and cooperation in fulfilling their religious duty and paving the way for the liberation of Al-Quds from Zionist occupation. 
It reminded Kuwaitis that it was those very regional American outposts that were used during the latest unprovoked American-Israeli aggression against Iran to conduct deadly attacks on Iranian soil, including one that led to the martyrdom of 168 schoolchildren in southern Iran. 
“We expect you, the noble and honorable people of Kuwait, to fulfill your divine duty and not allow Kuwaiti soil to serve as a launching point for aggression and the killing of Muslims,” the statement said.
In a statement issued on Monday, the IRGC’s High Command said the force will continue to obey the directives and commands of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, in defending Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. 
The statement came in response to a recent message by Ayatollah Khamenei in which the Leader called for national unity in the face of renewed U.S. aggression.
“Now that criminal America has once again chosen the path of error, aggression, and adventurism, we are firmly bound to this covenant: that we will teach it the ‘unforgettable lesson’ that you promised… a lesson that will deter any aggressor from repeating its wrongdoing,” read a part of the statement.
The IRGC said the force will never trust the U.S. and its promises for reaching a settlement through negotiations. 
“We pledge that… we will never tie the destiny of this country to the promises of a child-killing enemy whose record is filled with breach of faith, deceit, and rancor toward the nation of Iran.” 
The statement said Iran’s honor will only be guaranteed through resistance, vigilance, and might, adding that the experience of past years has proven that the enemy cannot be trusted at all.
The new strikes came one day after Donald Trump, the U.S. president, claimed Iran has “lost everything almost militarily. They’ve got very little left. They’ve got some missiles, they’ve got some drones, they’ve got some manufacturing ability, not much.”
The IRGC said the “foolish” U.S. president, who has repeatedly acknowledged his lack of understanding of world affairs, once again “displayed his ignorance and poor judgment by claiming that Iran has only a limited number of missiles and drones left and that its stockpiles are nearly exhausted.”
“Let the murderous president of the United States know that even if this war lasts for years, God willing, our missiles and drones will continue to rain down on the American criminals until the very last day of the conflict,” the elite military force declared.
Iran’s Army spokesman said the war will continue until a “full” deterrence is achieved to prevent the enemies from daring to launch another aggression against the country. 
“Rationality requires that the war continues to the point that leads to creating full deterrence for the Iranian nation,” Brigadier General Muhammad Akraminia said on Monday. 
“Otherwise, the enemy, through its miscalculations, will again conduct an aggression against the soil of [our] beloved Iran.”
“Continuing the war until achieving full deterrence is not based on excitement and belligerence, but rather on experience and rationality,” he stated.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the spokesman warned neighboring Arab countries against getting involved in the aggression against Iran. 
He condemned the involvement of some Persian Gulf states, “which have benefited from the capacity of the Strait of Hormuz for years, selling billions of dollars of oil and importing goods,” in U.S. attacks against Iran as “unfair” and “unacceptable” action that cannot continue. 
The spokesman warned that these countries will definitely face problems transiting through the Strait of Hormuz.
Stressing that the Iranian armed forces are the sole party that maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz, he said, “It is not possible for equipment that can be used against the Iranian nation to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.”
