ISSF World Cup 2026: Iran Announce 16-Man Squad
TEHRAN – Iran has
announced a 16-man shooting team on Monday for the 2026 ISSF World Cup in in Hangzhou, China
The Shooting World Cup will be held in Hangzhou, China from July 21 to August 26, during which Iran’s national shooting team will also compete in the event with 16 shooters.
The squad includes Hadi Ghareh Baghi, Pouria Norouzian, Amir Muhammad Nekunam, Najmeh Khedmati, Sharmineh Chehel Amirani and Fatemeh Amini in the rifle category, Vahid Golkhandan, Javad Foroughi, Rasoul Effati, Hanieh Rostamian, Samieh Yassi and Zeinab Tomari in the pistol category, Muhammad Beiranvand and Marzieh Parvareshnia in the trap category, and Amir Muhammad Dadgar and Saeedeh Fathi in the skeet category are the members sent to the Hangzhou World Cup.
The coaching staff consists of Muhammad Zaerrezaei and Amir Hussein Golpasand, head coach and trainer of the team, Maryam Soltani, head coach of the national pistol team, Ali Afsari, coach of the national trap team, and Farshid Abdolmuhammadi, coach of the national skating team, make up the technical staff of our country’s national teams in these competitions, and Omid Najar is also in charge of this team.
