Massive Qom Rally Testifies the Nation’s Iron Resolve

The millions who turned out in the holy city of Qom for the funeral prayer of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, resembled a roaring sea of black-clad mourners stretching for at least seven kilometers from the Jamkaran Mosque to the sacred mausoleum of Hazrat Fatema Ma’souma (SA), was yet another testimony to the iron-resolve of the Iranian nation.
The sight of the five national flag-draped coffins, including the tiny one of the 14-month granddaughter of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (RA) – Zahra Mohammad Golpayegani – drew torrents of tears from the huge gathering beatings chests with chants of “Ya Hussain (AS)” in remembrance of the immortal Martyr of Karbala, in whose footsteps the Leader and the nation treads.
In this month of Muharram that the nation commemorates the heartrending martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), the funeral brings memories of the heartless killing of Imam Husain’s (AS) 6-month infant and the afflictions which the Martyr of Karbala’s 4-year old daughter, Hazrat Ruqaiyya (SA) endured before ending as another child martyr.
No wonder, Iranians and conscientious people all over the world are calling the current killers Donald Trump of the US and Benjamin Netanyahu of the illegal Zionist entity as present day Yazids – a reference to the Godless Omayyad tyrant.
The unfurling of red flags throughout these ceremonies, coupled with the burning of effigies of the above-mentioned devilish duo, indicate the resolve of the bereaved nation to bring to justice the dastardly perpetrators of the war imposed upon the Islamic Republic.
Trump and Netanyahu will never be able to escape the swiftly approaching humiliating end of their miserable life, as was the fate of the perpetrators of the tragedy of Karbala when the avenger Mukhtar ibn Abi Obaidah Thaqafi started his campaign.
The resurgent nation of Iran is fully determined to reclaim its rights that include not just the control of the Strait of Hormuz but also war reparations, removal of all US bases from the region, release of all frozen assets, uranium enrichment, and the end of Israel.
