TEHRAN - Iranian free-style wrestler Rahman Amouzad is again on top of the world ranking, the United World Wrestling (UWW) announced on Wednesday.
According to UWW, Rahman Amouzad in the 65 kg weight category is placed at the top of the world ranking of weights once again after the Mongolian competition.
The World Wrestling Federation Rankings freestyle wrestling competitions were held in Mongolia and the Iranian freestyle wrestling team won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.
 Rahman Amuzad in the 65 kg weight category and Muhammad Nakhoudi in the 86 kg weight category won the gold medal, Mehdi Yousefi in the 79 kg weight category won the silver medal, Ahura Khatri in the 61 kg weight category and Abolfazl Rahmani in the 92 kg weight category won the bronze medal.3
 Rahman, who had already secured his place in the world championships, had entered the World Federation Rankings to improve his ranking. He was 8-0 down against Shamil Mammadov before making a spectacular comeback to win 17-10 and win the gold medal.
Ahmad Javan, a 61kg wrestler, is in second place in the world rankings. Kamran Ghasempour is in third place in the 86kg weight class, while Amirali Azarpira and Amirhossein Zare are in second place in the 97kg and 125kg weight classes.
