Pezeshkian Heads to Central Asia for Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan Visit
TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will embark on a two-day Central Asia tour starting Wednesday, December 10, visiting Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, the president’s chief of office announced Tuesday.
Mahdi Sanaee said Pezeshkian will hold official meetings, sign documents, and attend a trade conference in Kazakhstan. In Turkmenistan, the president’s agenda includes talks with senior officials and participation in the “Peace and Trust” conference. The trip underscores Iran’s efforts to strengthen regional ties amid growing economic and diplomatic engagement with Central Asian nations.
