First Iranian Semantics Book Published in France

TEHRAN – Le Locuteur Inacheve (“The Unfinished Speaker”), co-authored by Dr. Rouhollah Rezapour of Allameh Tabataba’i University and Dr. Savvy Antonio of the University of Cyprus, has been published in France by Harmattan Paris.
The book explores neotenic theory in linguistics, examining French, Persian, and Cypriot languages through both theoretical and psycholinguistic lenses. The introduction is written by Olivier Soutet, professor at the Sorbonne.
This marks Reza Pour’s second publication with the French press and makes him the first Iranian scholar to publish in semantics through Harmattan. The book was recently introduced at the University of Burgundy in Dijon with two international workshops, and a copy will soon be available at Allameh Tabataba’i University’s library.
A formal unveiling of the book is planned at the university with faculty and students in attendance.
