Ghalibaf: Iran Inflicted Unprecedented Blow on Israel
TEHRAN — Iran’s parliament speaker Muhammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Wednesday that the 12-day war with Israel inflicted unprecedented military and psychological blows on the Zionist regime, forcing even its global backers from Washington to London to seek ceasefire mediation by the fifth and sixth days.
Speaking at a congress honoring 3,000 martyrs in North Khorasan, Ghalibaf credited the resilience of Iranian and regional resistance forces to a deep-rooted culture of sacrifice and martyrdom. He emphasized that the unity and faith of the Iranian people, inspired by this legacy, underpins the country’s security, independence, and resistance against global pressures.
