TEHRAN -- In a stunning display of artistry and cultural pride, two music groups from Shiraz—Parseh Choir and Section Sabz—have captured international attention by winning gold and silver medals at the prestigious Spain Festival 2025. 
Under the expert leadership of the accomplished maestro Tayeb Faqih, the ensembles showcased the rich tapestry of Iranian music, blending folk traditions and modern pop with impeccable skill and passion.
The Parseh Choir, a constellation of talented vocalists including Niousha Jahankhahpour, Yalda Tashak, Maryam Ghasemi, and others, delivered a breathtaking performance that earned them the coveted gold medal in the folklore category. Their arrangements, masterfully crafted by the gifted Siavash Lotfi, and complemented by the elegant piano accompaniment of Sana Nouri, captivated the festival audience and judges alike.
Meanwhile, Section Sabz’s vibrant pop melodies secured the silver medal, highlighting the dynamic and evolving nature of Iran’s contemporary music scene. Faqih’s journey is marked by a series of international accolades, with awards from renowned festivals in Germany, Sri Lanka, Russia, and previous honors in Spain. This latest triumph in 2025 is a testament to the unwavering dedication and artistic excellence that define his work.
