Amir Mutai Wins Gold Medal, Breaks Record in 100m Breaststroke in Abu Dhabi Competition
THERAN - Amir Mutai Oon Saturday won the championship title in the 100m breaststroke at the Hamilton Open Swimming Competition in Abu Dhabi by improving the national record for this event.
Amir Mutai broke the national record and won the championship title for this event in the 100m breaststroke with a time of 1 minute and 17 seconds, which was previously 1 minute and 46 hundredths of a second.
Arad Mehdizadeh finished in second in this event with a time of 1 minute and 36 hundredths of a second after Amir Mutai.
These competitions are on the agenda to prepare the Iranian team for the Islamic Solidarity Games.
