The Palestinians, especially the bombed to bits people of Gaza, are the victims of not just Israeli brutality, US weaponry, and European hypocrisy, but also of Arab complicity in their continued massacre and starvation.

If the Zionists and the Americans are open enemies prolonging the genocide, the Arab regimes, especially the rulers of oil-rich states that have stockpiled huge arsenals from which they refuse to give even a few bullets to the Gazans for self-defence, have turned out to be the main hurdle to Arab unity and Islamic solidarity.

While continuing their overt and covert diplomatic/trade relations with the illegal Zionist entity, no matter if the death toll in Gaza nears 70,000 and the living remain homeless and hungry, they indulge in their now ritual habit of causing regional rifts by dancing to the tune of the crafty West in backing the UAE’s baseless claim to three of Iran’s Persian Gulf islands.

Their latest disruptive act occurred a few days ago in Kuwait, where at the 29th joint ministerial meeting of the Persian Gulf Cooperative Council (PGCC) and the European Union (EU), the treasonous trio of France, Germany, and Britain in order to distract attention from the Cairo talks for ceasefire in genocide-stricken Gaza, manipulated them into agreeing to a mischievous declaration against Iran – not Israel for its war crimes.

The ‘diabolical declaration’ threatened the Islamic Republic of referral to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding its indisputable sovereignty over the three islands, and called on Iran to bow to US demands for dismantling of not just its civilian nuclear installations, but also its defensive arsenal of missiles and drones for their decisive targeting of Israel’s strategic centres and the US base in Qatar during the 12-day war last June.

Isn’t this a devilish design against the Axis of Resistance that is the only force preventing the Zionist dream of ‘Greater Israel’ by occupation of all Arab lands between the River Nile in Egypt and the River Euphrates in Iraq?

Now we better understand the betrayal of the Palestinians by Arab regimes and their indifference to Israel’s holocaust in Gaza because of their subservience to the US and the EU, whose main goal is weakening and splitting of the Muslim Ummah.

Islamic magnanimity may have deterred Iran from summoning of the PGCC envoys in Tehran to the Foreign Ministry, which nonetheless summoned ambassadors of the treasonous EU trio in protest to the meddling of their regimes in Iranian and regional affairs.

They were told to inform their respective regimes in Paris, Berlin, and London, not to meddle in the affairs of our region, stop misleading and manipulating Arab states, open up their eyes to the US-Israeli crimes against humanity, and realize the futility of their so-called snapback sanctions. 

According to clauses of the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) it is Iran’s inalienable right to enrich uranium to whatever degree it requires for its IAEA- certified civilian nuclear projects for generating electricity, upgrading agriculture, developing industries, manufacturing modern machinery, and mastering the medicinal and pharmaceutical fields.

International law also permits Iran to fully develop its conventional means of defence to the highest degree in order to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity (including the three Persian Gulf islands of Bu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb), as well as deterrents against any aggressor.

No doubt, the long persecuted Palestinians, the indomitable resistance forces, and the conscientious countries and people of the world very well know the true friends of the oppressed and the real foes – whether open or secret!
