TEHRAN — Iran and Pakistan have agreed to boost bilateral trade to $10 billion, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh said Tuesday.
Speaking at the 22nd session of the Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission, which resumed after a three-year hiatus, Sadegh highlighted progress in cultural, industrial, commercial, transportation, scientific, and tourism sectors. Current trade agreements stand at $3.1 billion, with new deals expected to pave the way for reaching the $10 billion target, she added.
