Delkook Returns With Six Nights of Live Music
TEHRAN -- Starting this Sunday, the Iranian Artists’ Forum in Tehran is back with Delkook, a six-night run of live, ambient performances spotlighting the vibrant diversity of Iran’s music scene.
Curated by the Forum’s Cultural and Artistic Deputy, Delkook offers fans an intimate experience, with sets running 30 to 60 minutes every night at 7 p.m.
The lineup is a sonic tour across Iran’s musical landscape: Sunday opens with intricate tar strings, followed by Monday’s deep dive into Khorasan’s traditional sounds.
Tuesday highlights the evocative tunes of Del-Avā, with Wednesday’s piano melodies bringing a modern touch. Thursday turns to classical guitar before wrapping up Friday with a high-energy blues-rock finale.
More than just a concert series, Delkook is a creative hub for musicians, composers, and music scholars alike—a space to experiment and connect.
Now a staple in Tehran’s cultural calendar, the series promises new seasonal editions, keeping Iran’s rich musical heritage front and center.
Best of all? Admission is free, making Delkook accessible for all music lovers looking to experience Iran’s dynamic sounds live.
Keep an ear out for upcoming Delkook sessions this fall and winter at one of Tehran’s top cultural venues.
