TEHRAN – Iran has emerged as a regional power, with national unity and resilience thwarting enemy plots, Vice President and Atomic Energy Organization head Mohammad Eslami said on Monday.

In a memo marking the first anniversary of the 14th administration, Eslami highlighted ongoing economic and political pressures, a relentless media campaign, and direct military aggression by Israel and the United States. He said recent attacks on Iranian soil were the first since the 1979 Islamic Revolution and aimed not only at nuclear and defense sites but also at undermining the government and sowing discord among the population.
