Report: Iran’s Mining Exports Top $4.1bn
TEHRAN - The Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) on Saturday reported that the country has exported $4.1 billion worth of mining and mineral products during the first four months of this year.
The figures said that over 23,774,000 tonnes of mining and mineral products were exported, with value of $4.132bn.
The figures represented decrease of 4% in value and14% in volume terms, respectively, compared to the previous same period
The main exports related to the production chain of three products including steel, aluminum and copper, amounting to 14 million 271,275,000 tonnes showed a 30 percent increase and 4 percent decrease in weight and value, respectively.
