TEHRAN - Iran’s U-16 boys’ basketball team lost to Japan in its third match in the Asian Cup.
The U-16 boys’ basketball team played against Japan in its third match in the group stage of the 2025 Asian Cup in Mongolia on Tuesday and lost 86-67.
The results of the four quarters of the match are as follows:
First quarter: 22 - 18 / Japan
Second quarter: 18 - 18
Third quarter: 20 - 16 / Japan
Fourth quarter: 26 - 15 / Japan
As the second team in Group D, Iran will compete with the third team in Group C in the quarter-final qualifying round on Wednesday, September 12.
