Zionist Paper Exposes Deep MKO-Mossad Ties
TEHRAN — The Times of
Israel, a leading Israeli news outlet, has released a detailed report revealing the deep and long-standing ties between the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO).
The report underscores the MKO’s status as one of the most despised groups among the Iranian public, labeling it a traitorous organization that lacks any meaningful popular support inside Iran.
According to the Times of Israel, the cooperation between Mossad and the MKO extends far beyond what was previously known. U.S. officials have confirmed that the MKO receives funding, training, and weapons from Israeli intelligence, specifically to carry out assassinations targeting Iranian scientists.
The MKO’s operational network is reported to collaborate closely with Mossad by providing coordinates for critical infrastructure targets, including security-sensitive sites, weapons production facilities, and research laboratories.
The report states that this collaboration dates back at least to 2002 and has intensified during the recent 12-day Israeli and U.S. war on Iran, reaching new levels of complexity. During the period, the MKO reportedly played a significant operational role, providing logistical and intelligence support to Zionist forces.
The Times of Israel further details how the MKO established operational safe houses in Tehran to conduct intelligence-gathering, propaganda, and other activities in service of Israeli objectives. The group also reportedly supplied targeted data enabling high-profile assassinations carried out by Israeli operatives.
Legal expert Kevin John Heller, cited in the report, confirms that the MKO’s actions meet the criteria of terrorism under international conventions, highlighting the group’s global designation as a terrorist organization.
Israeli officials are reported to have acknowledged that military coordination during the 12-day war heavily relied on operational support from the MKO, demonstrating the group’s strategic importance to Israel’s military aggression.
The report’s author suggests that Israel should formally integrate the MKO into its official policies, shifting from covert cooperation to an open strategic partnership. However, the report warns that public recognition of the MKO by Israel would provoke significant backlash among the Iranian population and international observers.
The report emerges amid the ongoing 36th session of an Iranian court trial investigating the MKO’s collaboration with Israel during the recent war, further exposing the group’s role as a proxy force in Israeli aggression against Iran.
Iranian authorities and the general public continue to denounce the MKO as a terrorist and traitorous entity, emphasizing its foreign alliances and threat to national security.
