TEHRAN - Iran’s football team defeated Guam in Group F of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Thailand 2026 Qualifiers on Friday.
 In the ongoing AFC U-20 Women’s Cup qualifiers, Iran managed to win 2-0 over Guam.
Maryam Dini and Parnia Rahmani scored the goals for Iran.
In their first match in the AFC U-20 Women’s Cup qualifiers, the Iranian women’s football team won 3-0 over Malaysia.
Up next for Iran is Japan on Sunday, with the tie to likely decide the group winner.
The Group F competition is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from August 6 to 10.
The 2026 AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualification is a women’s under-20 football competition that will determine the participating teams in the 2026 AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup final tournament.
A total of 12 teams will qualify to play in the final tournament. The host country will qualify automatically, while the other 11 teams will be decided by qualification.
