Mossad Spy Linked to  Nuclear Scientist Assassination Executed

TEHRAN — Iran’s judiciary announced on Wednesday the execution of Roozbeh Vadi, convicted of espionage and collaboration with the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.
Vadi was found guilty of leaking classified information related to a recently assassinated Iranian nuclear scientist, officials said.
According to the judiciary’s media center, Vadi, a former employee of a sensitive Iranian organization, was arrested and tried on charges of spying for the Zionist regime. After a full legal process and final confirmation by the Supreme Court, his death sentence was carried out on the morning of August 6, 2025.
Court documents and Vadi’s own confessions reveal that he was fully aware of his cooperation with Mossad. Iranian authorities said Vadi was recruited online and underwent multiple evaluation stages by Mossad officers.
After verification of his identity, a Mossad officer named “Alex” fast-tracked his recruitment, and subsequently, an agent known as “Kevin” took over as his handler.
Vadi requested to receive payment through a digital currency wallet on a monthly basis rather than a reward-based system. Under Mossad’s direction, he purchased secure communication devices and was trained in their use to extract and transmit highly classified information.
He traveled to Vienna, Austria, on several occasions under the pretext of attending professional training courses, where he held five covert meetings with Mossad operatives. These meetings involved stringent security protocols, including multiple venue changes, body searches, and polygraph tests to ensure secrecy and loyalty.
Upon returning to Tehran, Vadi was instructed to provide weekly intelligence reports and received financial compensation based on the information’s value. His activities also included supplying details about the Iranian nuclear scientist killed in a recent Israeli operation.

Iranian security services tracked Vadi’s movements and arrested him after confirming his espionage activities. The judiciary charged him with espionage and collaborating with Israel, including receiving payments for spying.
He was convicted under Article 6 of the “Law Against Hostile Acts of the Zionist Regime” and multiple articles of the Islamic Penal Code. The court ruled that his actions severely endangered national security and public order.
The execution is part of a broader crackdown amid heightened Israeli aggression, during which Iran has arrested over 700 alleged Mossad agents and dismantled several underground espionage and drone facilities within the country.
