UAE, Iran Urge Regional Vigilance Against Israeli Chaos
TEHRAN — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the Israeli regime seeks to undermine security in the region, calling on all neighboring countries to remain vigilant against such threats.
Araghchi made the remarks during a phone call with United Arab Emirates Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He described Israel as “addicted to warmongering and lawlessness,” emphasizing the need for regional unity.
The two diplomats discussed recent developments, particularly the situation in Palestine, and explored ways to enhance political, economic, and commercial ties between Iran and the UAE. They stressed the importance of
leveraging their countries’ capacities to strengthen cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
In July, senior security officials from both countries, including Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian and UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, called for collective regional efforts to safeguard security amid heightened Israeli-U.S. aggression.
