Turkish FM Declares Zionist Regime’s Actions in Gaza ‘Genocide’

ISTANBUL (Dispatches) --
Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan fiercely condemned the Zionist regime’s brutal efforts to forcibly expel Gazans from their ancestral lands and its aggressive plans to annex the West Bank, calling these actions utterly unacceptable during a meeting with Hamas Shura Council head Muhammad Ismail Darwish in Istanbul on Friday.
Fidan, representing the Turkish Foreign Ministry, met with the Hamas delegation led by Darwish to discuss the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. The delegation slammed the Zionist regime’s token amounts of humanitarian aid, describing it as grossly insufficient, and denounced Israel’s ruthless, uncompromising stance in ceasefire negotiations.
Fidan condemned the Zionist regime’s ongoing genocidal campaign, accusing it of deliberately starving the people of Gaza to death. He emphasized that the Netanyahu regime’s true intent is to crush Gaza’s resistance by dragging out ceasefire talks and forcing mass displacement, amounting to a systematic attempt to annihilate the Palestinian population.
“No ifs, no buts,” Fidan declared, denouncing Israel’s genocidal policies and its strategy to break the will of Gaza’s people.
Highlighting Turkey’s unwavering support for Palestine, Fidan pointed to the surging global solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the increasing number of countries recognizing the Palestinian state, which is further isolating the Zionist regime internationally.
He reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to stand firmly with the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime’s ongoing aggression.
