Knowledge-Based Firm Produces LED Lamp Lifespan Testing Device

TEHRAN - A knowledge-based company in Iran has developed an LED lamp lifespan testing device.
“Our company operates in the field of special technologies, specially the production of LED lamp lifespan testing devices. These devices are unique in terms of structure and complexity in the country, because until now the production of such devices in Iran has been limited,” said Reza Mazare’i, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
“This system includes a generator that simulates day and night cycles and air humidity and provides different time intervals for testing LED lamps,” he added.
Noting that the working cycle of this device is designed based on a thousand hours of life, Mazare’i said that in normal cases, lamps produced in factories are out of work after 35 thousand hours.”
“This device works for about 7 hours in negative mode and 7 hours in positive mode, which plays an important role in testing and ensuring the quality of products,” he underlined.
In a relevant development in May, a technological company in Iran had taken effective steps in foreign exchange savings and entrepreneurship with its innovation in manufacturing LED lamps.
“With the productions we have made, we have taken effective steps in the field of internships, foreign exchange savings, and entrepreneurship in this province,” Akbar Khoshdoust, the managing director of the technological company based in the incubator center of Islamic Azad University’s Zahedan branch told ANA.
“These activities were carried out in relation to domestic production and replacing old lamps with LED lamps; old LED lamps had lower lumens, approximately between 40 and 60 lumens but now they have reached 200 to 220 lumens which indicates an increase in illumination,” he added.
“Old lamps with a power of 50 watts produced more heat but their illumination was lower, while our company’s new lamps produce less heat and provide higher illumination,” Khoshdoust said.
“These products can be used in different parts of Iran, depending on the weather conditions, heat, cold, and humidity, and are used everywhere,” he added.
