Iran Football Head Urges Israel Expulsion From International Games Venues
TEHRAN – Head of Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) Mehdi Taj says the Zionist regime should be expelled from international game scenes, as the regime doesn’t consider the international rules and assassins the innocent children and athletes.
Speaking among the athletes’ society gathering in front of UN office, Taj condemned the Zionist war on Iran and asked the expulsion of the Zionist regime from international games as the Israel posing a threat to peace and security in the region and beyond.
He hoped the Iranian nation win the ongoing war and asked the AFC to adjourn the Asian 2025-2026 Women’s Football Games.
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of scores of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.
