TEHRAN -- The spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Friday strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s recent attacks on Syria’s infrastructure.
Esmaeil Baghaei said the Israeli regime’s attacks are a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and fundamental norms of the international law.
“The Zionist regime’s military attacks on Syria are a clear example of aggression against Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity which are being carried out with the purpose of destroying and weakening the Muslim country.”

He said Israel’s airstrikes in Syria exposed the “dangerous and law-breaking nature” of the regime.
Baghaei urged the international community to take immediate action to end the Israeli occupation of the Syrian territory.
