Islamic Unity Vital for Defeating Zionist Entity

“United we stand and divided we fall” is a famous adage and probably it was borrowed by the British when they came in contact with Muslims, in view of the fact that the Holy Qur’an and the statements of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) emphasize unity.
Without the least doubt, Islamic teachings transcend the barriers of time and place, which means they are beacons of light for all eras and all places, especially for members of the Ummah who today inhabit all parts of the globe.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Saturday during the audience he granted to the visiting prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, while advising him to resolve all the problems between his country and India, emphasized the benefits of unity, especially against the enemies of humanity, such as the murderous racist/terrorist Zionist entity.
Today Muslims account for almost a fourth of the world’s estimated 7 billion population and 53 of the countries where Muslims are in majority have got together to form the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), along with 4 countries where they have sizeable numbers (the country left out being India and its huge Muslim population of around 250 million Muslims).
The Ummah, however, presents the spectacle of a house divided against itself, for the simple reason the rulers, not the people they rule, have decided to drift away from the Qur’an and the Sunnah (the Prophet’s practice and behaviour).
Unfortunately, instead of trying to bridge the gaps and build ideological unity for proper use of the vast natural resources bestowed by the Almighty Creator, several of these so-called Muslim rulers dance to the tune of the avowed enemies of the Ummah, such as the US and the illegal Zionist entity.
The result has been the destabilization of Syria, the aggression on Lebanon, the devastation of Yemen, and the genocide in Palestine.
Gone are the days when the enemies of Islam and Muslims used to laugh behind backs at the ideological ignorance and political immaturity of their client regimes in the Muslim world. Now, these archenemies of the Ummah are openly giving orders to these regimes to recognize the illegal Zionist entity called Israel.
In such a horrific situation what is the responsibility of the Muslim masses, especially of the ulema, who are supposed to be religious, spiritual, and social guides of the people?
The answer is obvious. They should endeavour to narrow the ideological, especially the jurisprudential gaps among the believers.
Once, the Ummah decides to stand on a common platform and mobilize its resources for safeguarding the achievements in different spheres, the US and the Zionists will retreat.
The message from Tehran is loud and clear: Knit ranks, remove differences, and recognize your real enemies. Then only the seven-and-a-half years of the holocaust in Palestine will end and the Palestinians will be free.
