TEHRAN -- Hedayat Hashemi is set to direct and Ali Hashemi will write the new television comedy ‘Sabzevar’.
Currently in early pre-production, the story follows a father and son attempting to organize a friendly football match between their hometown and Pakistan.
‘Distillation’ is a historical drama centered on a young man’s protest at a refinery, facing pressure from a British contractor.
Written by Karim Khodsiani, to be directed by Ali Sarahang, and being produced by Seyyed Maziar Hashemi, the project is in early pre-production under Simafilm.
‘Smiling Pistachio’ is a rural drama highlighting a village’s efforts to improve its orchard and farming skills.
Written by Hassan Varasteh, the project is still seeking a producer and director.
