BEIRUT (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s airstrikes have killed at least two people in southern Lebanon, health officials say. 
According to the country’s health ministry, Zionist troops attacked “a vehicle in Kaouthariyet al-Saiyad,” located between the southern cities of Sidon and Tyre on Sunday, killing one person and injuring another.
The ministry said that another person was killed in a strike on a house in the town of Houla.
The occupying regime has continued to carry out near-daily strikes in the country despite a ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Hezbollah that sought to halt more than a year of attacks on Lebanon.
The UN Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said last week that at least 71 civilians, including 14 women and nine children, have been killed in the regime’s airstrikes since the ceasefire took effect last November.
Spokesperson for the UN office, Thameen al-Kheetan, called for investigations into “each and every military action where civilians are killed.”
Under the ceasefire, the Zionist regime was to withdraw all of its forces from south Lebanon, but despite the deal, the regime’s forces have remained at five south Lebanon positions that they deem “strategic.”
