Freedom French Style

France and freedom do not tally with each other, as is the current situation in Paris and all other cities.
Of course, there is freedom to commit all sorts of indecent and immoral acts in the French society, even insulting the sanctities of religion and supporting the crimes against humanity of an illegal entity like Israel.
When conscientious persons, however, criticize the waywardness prevalent in France or denounce the genocide of the Palestinians by the Zionists, then it is the end of freedom for such persons.
The latest victim of the French regimes violation of freedom is an Iranian female academic who denounced the Israeli genocidal campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip and expressed her solidarity with Palestinians.
To her surprise and the shock of the civilized world, 35-year old Mahdieh Esfandiari, a French language graduate, who has lived in Lyon for eight years has been arrested by the French police.
She had no fault nor did she violate the norms of the French society, but was suddenly detained after publishing messages on a Telegram channel condemning the ongoing genocide in the blockaded Palestinian territory.
Her family in France as well as in Tehran is worried on losing contact with her. The French authorities, however, are not cooperating with the relevant Iranian authorities unwilling to give an explanation on her situation.
The regimes in France have never been friendly with Iran ever since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 because of the undue influence of the Zionist entity on Paris as well as US pressures.
Observers point out that this very factor of being Iranian seems to have politicized Esfandiari’s case and made her victim of the biased and bigoted French authorities, who grant asylum to traitors and fugitives from justice fleeing Iran to France.
The Iranians government is determined to the case of this innocent academic and provide all assistance for her early release from detention.
