TEHRAN -- Iranian actor Mehran Ghafourian has publicly expressed his grief and outrage over the killing of children in the Gaza Strip. 
 “I didn’t want to upset you. But I have a daughter—and I cried. May God not forgive you. God, please end this suffering of the children,” he wrote in a social media post. 
Ghafourian’s message reflects his deep sorrow and paternal empathy for the innocent victims in Gaza, especially the children.
Known for his comedic roles, Ghafourian used his platform to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis, joining a growing number of Iranian artists speaking out against the violence.
Ghafourian has played in many popular films such as ‘Charlatan’ and ‘Best Friends’, as well as TV series like ‘Snowy Mountains’ and ‘Flat Tire’.
