TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran have defeated Tajikistan 10-1 in the 2025 CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship for the fourth time. 
Maral Torkman (two goals), Fereshteh Karimi (two goals), Mahtab Banaei, Roghayeh Soume’eh, Nasimeh Gholami, Zahra Kianimanesh, Fatemeh Hosseini, and Mahsa Alimadadi scored for Team Melli.
Team Melli had defeated Uzbekistan 9-0, Kyrgyzstan 10-0 and Turkmenistan 5-1 in its previous matches.
Maral Torkaman was named the 2025 CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Torkaman was named the best goalscorer of the tournament and MVP.
Turkmenistan’s Malika Eminova was named the best goalkeeper of the event.
Iran has won every previous edition of the tournament since 2022.
The tournament, organized by the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), was held in Dushanbe for the third time on February 9-16.
