TEHRAN – Iran have finished in seventh place at the 2025 Men’s FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup quarterfinals.
Team Melli began the tournament with a 5-3 victory against Argentina in its opening match on Monday but fell to Germany 8-3 on Tuesday.
The Persians advanced to the quarterfinals as the second-best team after defeating Malaysia 3-0 on Thursday but lost to South Africa 6-0 and Poland 9-1.
The competition was held in Poreč, Croatia, from February 3 to 9.
