Lebanon Files Complaint Against Israel With UNSC
BEIRUT (Dispatches) – Lebanon has filed another complaint with the UN Security Council against the Zionist regime over its repeated violations of a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah.
The complaint was filed on Tuesday through the Lebanese permanent mission in New York in response to the occupying regime’s violation of Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire agreement reached in late November, according to a Foreign Ministry statement. It explained in detail the Israeli violations in southern Lebanon, including its ground and air assaults, and destruction of homes and residential neighborhoods.
The file also mentioned the regime’s abduction of Lebanese citizens and soldiers, and attacks on civilians returning to their border villages.
