Fajr Film Festival Announces Jury Lineup
TEHRAN -- The 43rd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Tehran has officially revealed the jury lineup for the Iranian Cinema Competition section.
As per the ruling of the festival’s directorate, Manouchehr Shahsavari, a panel of distinguished industry figures has been selected to evaluate this year’s cinematic entries.
The jury for this edition includes celebrated filmmaker Kamal Tabrizi, actor and producer Bahram Radan, veteran critic Reza Dorostkar, director Alireza Raisian, cinematographer Alireza Zarrin-Dast, former minister of Cultural heritage Ezzatollah Zarghami, and film editor Mastaneh Mohajer.
The first jury session took place on the evening of January 28, coinciding with the Eid al-Mab’ath, at the festival’s committee headquarters.
The 43rd Fajr International Film Festival is set to run from January 31 to February 10, celebrating the latest achievements in Iranian cinema.
