Official Poster, Logo for ‘Prophet Moses’ Released
TEHRAN -- The official poster and motion logo for the highly anticipated film ‘Prophet Moses’, directed by the renowned Ebrahim Hatamikia, have been unveiled ahead of its screening at the 43rd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).
According to the project’s media advisor, the cinematic version of ‘Prophet Moses’ focuses on the story of the prophet’s birth.
The film, produced by Mahmoud Razavi, is currently undergoing its final technical touches and will soon be delivered to the festival organizers.
The film’s logo was crafted by designer Masoud Nejabati, while the cast features a stellar lineup, including Merila Zaree, Alireza Kamali, Behnam Tashakkor, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Farhad Ayeesh, Shakib Shajareh, and two child actors, Gandom Sheikhi and Delsa Muhammadi.
The movie and its corresponding series, also titled ‘Prophet Moses’, are being produced by the Simafilm Center.
The series, consisting of 52 episodes, begins before the birth of Prophet Moses and incorporates advanced technologies in its production.
Filming for the series’ first season will begin immediately after the cinematic version’s completion.
The journey of this monumental project has faced challenges over the years. Initially, the late director Farajollah Salahshour, known for ‘Prophet Joseph’, was set to lead the project but passed away before starting the production.
His successor, Jamal Shourjeh, had to step down after suffering a stroke. And Ebrahim Hatamikia ultimately took over the directorial reins.
