Israel’s Slaughter of Lebanese on Expiry of Ceasefire

On expiry of the 60-day deadline for withdrawal of all Israeli troops from the occupied southern borderline of Lebanon, the cowardly Zionist enemy stayed put and cold-bloodedly massacred dozens of protesting Lebanese men, women, and children in addition to injuring around a hundred others.
It now remains to be seen how Lebanon’s new president and prime minister will react, and how Hezbollah, the legendary anti-terrorist movement, will respond to the latest act of terrorism by the illegal Zionist entity?
The slaughter of Lebanese civilians by the Israeli army following the ceasefire that took effect on November 27 last is not something new.
The Israeli military killed at least 90 Lebanese people by early December alone in almost a week after the ceasefire.
There are more than 30 videos and images of documented ground incursions and aerial attacks by Israel inside Lebanon during the ceasefire.
According to Anadolu Agency Israel violated the ceasefire at least 660 time, but the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, despite being a pro-Israel DC think tank, admitted that the Zionist entity committed at least 800 airspace violations since November 27.
In addition, around 4.5 square kilometers of Lebanese land, primarily along frontline villages, were subject to demolishing and bulldozing by the cowardly enemy forces in blatant violation of the ceasefire.
Observers do not expect Israel to observe the clauses of the ceasefire and withdraw, in view of its past criminal record and its present US-supported brutalities.
In such a case, it is up to the Lebanese government and army to take appropriate stands and for the UN to enforce the stationing of the UNFIL forces along the borders of Occupied Palestine to make the Zionist military withdraw.
Hezbollah had earlier warned that if the Zionist enemy continues to occupy Lebanese territory after the 60-day ceasefire, it has the right to respond in order to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Homeland.
Meanwhile, Israel also continues to violate the other ceasefire it has concluded with the Palestinian Liberation Movement, Hamas, in Gaza.
The UN and the big powers bear responsibility for violence, war, bloodshed, and destruction by Israel in Occupied Palestine and Lebanon.
