The seizure of Syria by an outfit that for over a decade terrorized the country with the support of the US, Israel, Turkey, and Arab reactionary regimes, has emboldened the puppeteers in Washington and Tel Aviv to cast covetous eyes on Iraq in league with supposedly Muslim regimes slavishly serving American-Zionist interests against the Islamic Ummah.
The killers of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance leaders (as well as the people) think it is time to pounce upon Iraq in pursuit of the ‘Greater Israel’ dream through the pressure/propaganda/bribe tactics that made Damascus fall like a ripe fruit in their lap and earlier in 2013 had triumphed in Egypt.
Aware that the main hurdle to their plot is the fiercely anti-terrorist and religious-nationalist PMU (Popular Mobilization Units) they have begun to grease the hands of rootless officials eager to betray the homeland, confident that visionless politicians will also be easily deceived to join the chorus against the resistance forces,
It is an alarming situation and a dangerous plot. Recently the British media claimed that an Iraqi cabinet minister hinted at luring the PMU to lay down arms in order to remove what it said “the concerns” of the US, Turkey, and reactionary Arab regimes on their fear that Baghdad will be a bastion of resistance against the illegal Zionist entity and the Islamic goal of liberation of Palestine.
These flimsy-faith officials think that the dismantling of the PMU will lead to flow of billions of dollars of investment from the West and the oil-rich Persian Gulf states as well as Turkey, unaware of the fact that the purpose is to install a client regime in Baghdad unrepresentative of the religion and culture of the Iraqi people.
God forbid, if the conspirators succeed, the illegal presence of the US forces will never end, enabling the Zionists to take control of the Iraqi economy.
It is now up to Iraq’s patriotic and pious people to realize the situation and rise to the defence of their country and its future as a powerful and independent member of the Islamic resistance front.
Had it not been for the PMUs, there would not have been a government in Baghdad today. The units sacrificed the most men from all classes of society on the front lines against Daesh terrorists to ensure the security of Iraq. 
In the words of a prominent Iraqi resistance leader, “the PMU is a solution to what has no solution, and no solution to it.”
This means, the future of Iraq as an independent Muslim country committed to national development and Islamic unity, is not any deception of dollars from the West or the oil-rich rootless regimes, but to the expulsion of all foreign occupation forces from the country.
No wonder, the Iraqi people are capable of turning into nightmare the dream of Greater Israel.
