It was a decisive move by the security forces to strike at and dismantle terrorist hideouts in Sistan-Baluchestan Province in the southeast of the country near the borders of Pakistan from where US-Israeli agents penetrate the Islamic Republic to loot and kill peace-loving local citizens.

According to reports, the well-planned operation by the ground forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) inflicted major losses on the self-styled Jaish al-Adl – a terrorist outfit on the CIA-Mossad payroll seeking to undermine Iran’s security.

Second Brigadier General Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, the Commander of the 110th Salman Farsi Special Operations Brigade, said on Sunday the operation resulted in the destruction of several terrorist cells and bases.

Several of the terrorists were killed and several others captured, thanks to the cooperation between security forces and the local Baluchi tribes.

It is interesting to note that the latest operation against terrorists occurred on the 14th anniversary of the historic 9 of the Iranian month of Dey on which the Iranian people responding to the call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution rose nationwide to expose the traitors, terrorists, and thugs trying to destabilize the Islamic Republic.

Over the past four and a half decades of the Islamic Republic whenever the agents of Global Arrogance and Zionism try to bear their poisonous fangs, the people of all strata of society close ranks to defeat the nefarious plots.

In these sensitive times when the US regime and the illegal Zionist entity are trying to destabilize the entire West Asia region in secret collaboration with certain treacherous so-called Muslim regimes, Iran has become ever watchful.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s security forces as well as the whole nation are determined to confront the plots of the sworn enemies of the nation and the Islamic Ummah.

This high degree of alertness undoubtedly deters the US and Israel and their agents from indulging in any widespread mischief, and if they do, the retaliation from Iran will swift and decisive.

Reason dictates that diplomacy coupled with the necessary means of defence are the best deterrents against the plots and weaponry of the common enemies of Iran and the rest of the West Asian region.

In view of these facts, the Islamic Republic fully stands behind the active members of the Axis of Resistance all over the region, and is confident that the cowardly enemies will not succeed anywhere.
