Sulaymaniyah Fair Features 300 Iranian Book Titles

TEHRAN -- Iran’s Book and
Literature House Institute is displaying a collection of Iranian books that is drawing crowds at the 6th Sulaymaniyah International Book Fair in Iraq, which opened on November 28.
The institute is showcasing 300 book titles from 50 active publishers in the country.
The booth, spanning 18 square meters, is a treasure trove of literary works covering various topics such as resistance literature, Iranology, ancient and contemporary literature, children and young adult literature, and Persian language teaching.
The 11-day book fair, which will run until December 8, has brought together over 200 publishers from the Iraqi Kurdistan and elsewhere across Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Oman, the UAE, Lebanon, the U.S., and the UK.
The event is expected to display tens of thousands of book titles over its duration.
The Iranian stand aims to introduce the latest achievements of the country’s publishing industry, promote the Tehran International Book Fair, and highlight the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance’s supportive plans and literary awards.
