Minister: Tourism Center to Open on Bumusa Island
TEHRAN – Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Reza Salehi Amiri said here Wednesday a major tourism center will be opened on the Iranian island of Bumusa in the Persian Gulf.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet session, Salehi Amiri said the ground has been paved for opening a 30-hectare tourist camp on Bumusa island.
3Chabahar and Makran are also developing comprehensively, he said, adding that the private sector has started a large tourism project in Makran.
Minister of Sports and Youth Ahmad Donya Mali also said Bumusa’s capacities need to leveraged for sea and beach sports.
