Sareh Javanmardi Clinches Gold in 
10 Air Pistol
TEHRAN - Sareh Javanmardi from Iran has bagged a gold in women’s 10 air pistol SH1 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Her gold medal was the first gold and fourth medal for Iran at the marquee sports event at the the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Javanmardi kissed the Holy Qur’an and her country’s flag after clinching gold in women’s 10 air pistol SH1 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Zafar Zaker Snatches Silver

Iranian shot putter Zafar Zaker won a silver medal in the Paralympic Games Friday night.
He threw 11.88 meters in the men’s shot put F55 and finished in second place.
Bulgarian athlete Ruzhdi Ruzhdi claimed the gold with a throw of 12.40 meters and Poland’s Lech Stoltman won a bronze with 11.81 meters.
Parastoo Habibi Claims Bronze
Thrower Parastoo Habibi won a bronze medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games Friday night. In the competition, held at the Stade de France in Paris, Habibi seized a bronze medal in the Women’s Club Throw - F32. She came third with a throw of 26.29 meters. Poland’s athlete Roza Kozakowska won the gold medal with 31.30 and the silver medal went to Tunisian Maroua Ibrahmi with 29.00 meters.
Iranian Taekwondo athlete Zahra Rahimi had won a silver medal Thursday night. Athletics at the 2024 Summer Paralympics take place at Stade de France in Paris.Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the Games.
