Houthi: Half of Israel-Linked Vessels Disrupted
SANAA (Dispatches) -- The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said half of Israel-linked vessels have had their journeys disrupted by the group’s attacks carried out in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. “Our naval operations have had an impact on the Israeli, US and British economies,” al-Houthi added in a televised speech broadcast by the group’s Al-Masirah channel. “Israeli-linked navigation through the Red Sea was almost paralysed.” According to the Houthi leader, the U.S. and Britain have decided willingly to shoulder the problem with Israel. The U.S. in particular, he said, is accustomed to implicating others.
When the U.S. and UK sided with the occupation state and launched retaliatory airstrikes against Yemen, Ansarullah declared all American and British ships to be military targets.
