VOD Platforms to Premiere Three Series

TEHRAN -- Iranian VOD 
platforms have the series “Estrangement”, “The Asphalt Jungle 2” and “One Way Ticket” on their list for debut.   
Directed by Amir Pourkian, “Estrangement” explores women’s issues within a dramatic narrative.
The social drama centers on women involved in a drug cartel who plan to escape and emigrate, challenging their employer’s control.
Produced by Sadegh Yari, the series stars Anahita Dargahi, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Hussein Mehri, Tarlan Parvaneh, and Hamed Rasouli.
Originally titled Stepmother, “Estrangement” will soon be ready for broadcasting.
The second season of “The Asphalt Jungle”, directed by Pejman Teymourtash and produced by Esmaeel Afifeh, is now in production phase.
The new season comprises 25 episodes, following the conclusion of the first season in 12 episodes.
Scheduled for release this fall, the series continues the story of Hengameh, who risks everything to secure money to save her brother’s life.
The cast list includes Navid Muhammadzadeh, Fereshteh Husseini, Amir Jafari, Rima Raminfar, Merila Zarei, and Azadeh Samadi.
The mystery police drama “One Way Ticket”, written, directed, and produced by Pouria Heydari-Oure, has introduced a new group of actors.
The filming is underway in Tehran and Turkey, featuring Ali Shademan, Mehrdad Seddighian, and Fereshteh Marashi.
The series will be ready for screening in four months.
