Yesterday, on the 15th of the Iranian month of Khordad, we marked the 61st anniversary of the memorable movement launched in 1963 by Imam Khomeini (RA) to shake to its flimsy foundations the British-installed and US-backed Pahlavi regime for its crimes against humanity (including Islam and the Iranian nation), as precursor to the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 that transformed Iran into the self-reliant paramount power of the region that it is today with worldwide positive influence.

We remember his historic words expressed boldly to the Israeli-trained military agents who imprisoned and then expelled him from Iran, to await the advent of his invincible liberation army currently in the cradle and the embryonic stage.

The Pahlavi potentate laughed, while his American and British masters giggled, and the Zionists chuckled in disbelief, all of them arrogantly ignorant about the truth of the words of the gnostic scholar, religious leader, social awakener, and political pragmatist.

Among the several grownup and faithful young soldiers of the Father of the Islamic Revolution 61 years ago during the Khordad 15th Uprising, was a 24-year old budding scholar named Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who following the emergence of the prophesied people’s civilian army of the world-changing events of 1978-79 in Iran, would emerge 1989 on Khordad 15 (a day after the peaceful passing away of his mentor) as the able successor to the Late Imam, after an efficient role as Member of the Revolutionary Council, the Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran, and finally President of the Islamic Republic for 8 years or full two terms.

Today, for the past 35 years, Ayatollah Khamenei has steadfastly continued the iron-resolve policy of Imam Khomeini (RA) to not only direct Iran’s dramatic developments in all fields, but also work steadfastly in materializing the goals of the Islamic Revolution for solidifying the Islamic Ummah worldwide with focus on strengthening the Axis of Resistance for liberating the region from US hegemony and for practical measures to weed out the cancerous tumour called Israel.

No wonder, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has hailed last October’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm that shattered the myth of superiority of Israel’s military and intelligence, as an important step towards the liberation of Palestine from decades of occupation by the non-Semitic, non-Israelite false claimants of Judaism of east European.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s recent historical epistle to the student movement for their righteous stand in continuing the struggle against the US-Israel genocide in Gaza and demanding freedom of Palestine from the River (Jordan) to the Sea (Mediterranean) is indeed materialization of the prophecy made over a decade earlier that the Zionist entity will collapse within 25 years.
