Qalibaf’s Message on Palestine Delivered to Duma Chairman
MOSCOW (Dispatches) – The speaker of the Russian parliament’s lower house has received a written message from Iran’s Parliament speaker Muhammad Bagher Qalibaf about the Zionist regime’s intensified atrocities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Qalibaf’s message was delivered by chairman of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Vahid Jalalzadeh during a meeting with Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, Volodin highlighted the need to continue cooperation between Tehran and Moscow to immediately end the merciless killing of the defenseless people of the Gaza Strip as well as the need for international support for the Palestinian people.
The main responsibility for the continuation of the tragic events in Gaza lies with the United States, he asserted.
For his part, Jalalzadeh said Iran and Russia will continue their efforts to immediately end the crimes of the U.S.-backed occupiers.
Jalalzadeh is leading a parliamentary delegation to Moscow to meet top lawmakers and officials of the Russian Federation.
