Source: Iranian FM to Visit Oman, Qatar
TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian will visit Oman and Qatar, an informed source at the Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy commission said on Monday.
The agenda of talks is unknown. But Oman is said to be mediating between Iran and the US for talks over a possible prisoner swap deal. Omani officials have been engaged in a shuttle diplomacy in order to finalize the agreement.
